I’m Josh Martin. I help restaurants, hospitality groups, institutional kitchens and farms buy well, work well with suppliers and keep inventory in order, as a short project or ongoing support.

What I Do

One Consultant
Across the Whole Operation.

Most operations hire separate help for purchasing, the kitchen and software. I’ve done all three, so my recommendations fit how your operation actually runs.

Meet Josh Martin, CEC

I started in kitchens. As a Certified Executive Chef I ran multi‑unit foodservice operations with multimillion‑dollar budgets and consulted for restaurants on recipes, food cost and production.

Then I moved into procurement at UC Santa Cruz, where I led purchasing programs, negotiated supplier incentives and brought small‑business participation to 25%. I also help run Martin Ranch Organics, a certified‑organic avocado ranch in Ventura County, so I know the supplier side of the table too.

I started HAPV Solutions to bring that mix to food and hospitality businesses that need senior purchasing help without a full‑time hire.
